Levitt Foundation

Bringing Free Live Music to Communities Nationwide

The Levitt Foundation is a national funder dedicated to strengthening the social fabric of communities through the power of free, live music. For nearly two decades, the Foundation has partnered with local nonprofits to activate underused outdoor spaces — transforming parks, plazas, and public gathering spots into welcoming destinations where people come together.

Through its flagship programs — Levitt Venues, Levitt AMP, and Levitt VIBE — the Foundation has helped bring thousands of free outdoor concerts to millions of people across the country, fostering community pride, equity, and connection one city and one concert at a time.

The Salem Jazz and Soul Festival is proud to be a Levitt-supported event. With the Foundation's support, SJSF continues its mission of presenting free, world-class live music at the historic Salem Willows while directing proceeds toward music education programming for arts-underserved youth across Massachusetts' North Shore.
