As an all volunteer-run organization, we can't produce free concerts and raise funds for music
education programs without your help!
We're always looking for volunteers to help with event production and behind the scenes
projects. If you're interested in participating, we'd love to hear from you. There are a number of
ways to help.
Here are some roles we're trying to fill that require volunteer time throughout the year. Click on a

And here are some roles related to the events we'll stage on 4/2 (tentative date), 5/12, 6/9, 7/14,
and 8/11. Our biggest needs are for volunteers who can help with events during our main event,
the Salem Jazz and Soul Festival, Sat & Sun 8/18 and 8/19.

about your professional background if you're interested in an "event staff" role) to

- As a volunteer addressing special projects year-round (example: marketing/promotion,
event planning, volunteer coordination, accounting, etc.).
- Help us set up events and/or sell merchandise during our early summer series at Derby
Square, a monthly performance beginning in May and running every Second Saturday until
August.
- Become a Festival Weekend volunteer - so much goes into staging our "main event" - we
need help of all kinds! Volunteer assignments on Saturday and Sunday include
construction/set-up, production/stage runners, signage posting, VIP registration/check-in,
volunteer coordination, kids tent volunteers, music education and more.
